My goal in running for city council is to build a stronger, safer, more beautiful Provo. Provo has been the heart of Utah County since this area was first settled by its early Pioneers. It has been the center for commerce, the center for learning, and the center for many other activities that draw people here. However, if we don’t keep Provo growing in the right way, we may find our city passed by. We can make Provo stronger, safer, and more beautiful.

Laura is the second of eight children. With her father attending medical school, completing his residency and getting his career under way, Laura’s chilhood and formative years were spent in such diverse places as Guadalajara, Mexico, Winnepeg, Canada, Green River, Wyoming, Springville, Utah, and El Paso, Texas. ...

The Election Issues

This campaign is really about making Provo a Stronger, Safer, More Beautiful City to live in and raise our families. I hope you share this vision with me. I've never been one to place much stock in empty election year promises, but I do want to share my thoughts on the issues I believe are most important to our city at this time.
